REGULAR RETREATS
The Kangyur Rinpoche Foundation regularly organizes conferences, teachings and retreats, with Jigme Khyentse Rinpoche, Pema Wangyal Rinpoche, Rangdröl Rinpoche and other masters.
Shamatha
Shamatha Retreats range from 2 to 5 days in duration. They are open to all.
For more information please check the events page or subscribe to our mailing list.
PARALLEL RETREATS
In October 2008, groups of Parallel Retreats were held in Portugal as an alternative to the traditional Three-Year retreats. When attending the Parallel Retreats, the student commits to a set of daily practices with the aim of better understanding their mind through the study and application of methodologies refined over centuries by an unbroken lineage of Tibetan sages and scholars, which permeates Tibetan culture and is today an intangible heritage of humanity.
