Registration
It is with great joy that we open the registrations for the Drubchö to be held from May 3rd to 9th, at the Covão da Águia Retreat Center (Monchique).
This drubchö is based on the termas Nyakluk Dorje Phurba (Vajrakīlaya according to the tradition of Nyak Jñānakumāra), revealed by Kyabje Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoche, and Laphur Thugtik, revealed by Kangyur Rinpoche.
The event will be led by Shechen Rabjam Rinpoche, Jigme Khyentse Rinpoche, Pema Wangyal Rinpoche, Rangdrol Rinpoche and several monks from Shechen Monastery.
A drubchö consists of a characteristic Vajrayana practice in which lamas, monks and participants perform together many meditations, recitations, ceremonies, etc., over several sessions throughout the day.
These group practices have profound beneficial effects, including: purifying and avoiding obstacles in our practice and life, and contributing to peace and harmony in the world, and can be an important stepping-stone on the spiritual path to awakening.
PROGRAM
The event will start at 9:00 AM on May 3rd, and the schedules for the following sessions will be announced during the event.
HOW TO PARTICIPATE
There are two ways of participating in the drubchö, which are not mutually exclusive:
1. PARTICIPATING IN PERSON
Prior registration for the event is essential and can be done online.
Due to the significant costs associated with organizing this event, a minimum contribution of 50€ per day is suggested.
Since the number of seats is limited, registration is formalized with a contribution of at least 50% of the donation amount. We ask that you identify your transfer with your name and the word “drubcho” and send the respective proof of payment to office@krfportugal.org.
2. PROVIDING FINANCIAL SUPPORT
Those who are unable to attend in person may still participate by offering a donation. (see form)
The costs of organizing a Drubchö (tents, plane tickets, materials, meals, etc.) are extremely high.
Instead of trying to cover the costs by asking everyone for a very large contribution, we appeal to the generosity of those who want to help make this event possible.
